To be, or not to be? Are you full, or in the power of the Holy Spirit?

Luke 4:1, 14 NMV
[1] And Yeshua [God is Salvation] being full of the Holy Spirit [Ruach HaKodesh] returned from Yarden [descender], and was led by the Spirit [Ruach] into the wilderness,
[14] And Yeshua [God is Salvation] returned in the power of the Spirit [Ruach] into Galil [circuit, district]: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.

These verses shows Jesus's state pre and post-temptation of the devil. The Bible did not mince words to depict the difference between these two states. Pre-temptations, Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. After the temptations, He was in the power. These two analogies might look the same, I also thought so too until I was corrected by the Omniscient Spirit of God Elohim. The objective of this post is to share the explanation or illustrations He gave to me. Be blessed in the name of Yeshua Hamashiach as you read this.

To understand the difference between these two analogies, think of a cup filled with a content, we can say the cup is full of the content. Now think of the same cup dipped or immersed in a much bigger container. That's what the scripture meant by being in the power. To be 'in' is more than being on LinkedIn, but to be totally immersed. So the difference between these two verses is that in verse 1, Jesus was already full of the Holy Spirit. But that didn't stop the devil from coming to Him to tempt Him. On the contrary, it unveiled Him to the devil for temptation. Meaning, you are still susceptible to temptations despite being filled, but not without a solid backing. However, when you are in the power of the Holy Spirit, you're totally surrendered surrounded and totally immersed in the Holy Spirit, that's when you are far from principalities and powers. You'll become one with the Holy Spirit, and guess what! The Holy Spirit is part of Trinity which means you will become one with God the Father as well as God the Son. This is too much of a lucrative relationship to ignore.

In case you are thinking, Am I trying to say the fullness of the Holy Spirit is not good enough? Far from it. The fullness of the Holy Spirit is more than good enough. Because with the fullness of the Holy Spirit you have all the arsenal to resist the devil as Jesus did. If you do a retrospective review of what Jesus did pre Luke 4, you'll see the difference of the life without the Holy Spirit from a life full of the Holy Spirit and from a life in the power of the Holy Spirit. All three realities can happen to any mankind.

A life without the Holy Spirit is at the mercy of the devil, that life is either a tool or a toy of the devil and his minions (Romans 8v8). But a life full of the Holy Spirit has the wisdom and knowledge to decipher the operations of the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and the pride of life (I John 2v16). Why? because those are the core of the three temptations Jesus went through. Oh man! He went through them as a boss! A life full of the Holy Spirit have the weapons to withstand the devil, for this weapon of warfare isn't of the carnal type (2 Cor 10v4), and a carnal man cannot definitely wield this weapon. Please note that you can be full of a content and still resist the content from impacting you or anyone. You can limit the extent and existence of the content. Just like having a cup of water and not drinking it even when thirsty because you'd rather prefer to have coke instead. Which is the reason why the next step is very vital.

A life in the power of the Holy Spirit is on another level. It is a life that is totally immersed in God. It is a life that has become one with God. It is a life that is totally surrendered to God. A life that worships and honours God unconditionally (not only when He answers our prayers), for God is still and will forever remain God whether He answers or chooses not to answer us. It is a life that fulfills vows especially when it hurts the most and you have every justification to reduce our delay in fulfilling the vow (Psalms 15v4c, Psalms 56v12).

What am I trying to say? What I am trying to say is that, good that you have given your life to Jesus Christ. For to be saved, you must believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord and confess His lordship with your mouth for the devil and the whole world to see (Romans 10v9). But after that please know that there is more. You can now seek to be filled and full of the Holy Spirit Spirit. Just as Apostle Paul asked the Christians at Ephesus (Acts 19v1-6) have you received the Holy Spirit since you believed? We can boldly see that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is and should be the next agenda if you haven't yet received it. Afterwards there is more, the next step is to be fully immersed in the power of the Holy Spirit.

An online post said to be full of the Holy Spirit is natural, while to be in the power of the Holy Spirit is supernatural. The analogy above confirms that. The filled cup is natural, but to be in the power of the Holy Spirit is supernatural. Now that you have known, to be in the power of the Holy Spirit, you have to be sealed in that strong tower called the name of Jesus Christ, then call for the in filling of the Holy Spirit. After that don't stop at the in filling continue till the point of overflow. Let the Holy Spirit overflow from within you to without you. You cannot be in the power of the Holy Spirit and not be full of the Holy Spirit (John 20v22, Acts 2v3-4), it is a one-for-all deal.

May God bless us even in this endtime and as we seek His face and await His return.

Shalom aleichem brothers and sisters.
