Where are you (pt 2) : In the name of Jesus

Based on the topic, this sequel is titled 'In the name of Jesus.' Our point of departure and anchor of reference is the smallest part of the topic. This is the first word 'IN' which refers to a specific place or location or venue. Henceforth, the word location and venue will be used interchangeably to refer to our topic. The Bible confirms this in Prov 18:10 'The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.' Depicting that the word 'in the name of Jesus' which has been used or shamefully abused by some is more than a word, or based on the social media terminology should I say a hashtag. It is a venue or house for the righteous and a destination for the unrighteous.

David by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit further unveiled it as every believers' 911 speed dial in emergency or unexpected circumstances. Psalms 91:1. He that dwells in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Just as no one enjoys the treasures in a house unless they're in the house, so does for this name to work, one must first be in the name and to be in it you must first believe in it.

Apostle Paul in Philippians 2: 9-11 mentioned that God the Father has given us a name that is above all names, that at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus is Lord. Consider the word 'at', referring to this location or place or house called the name of Jesus. To get the real analogy been depicted in this piece, let's do a mental or meditative exercise.

Anywhere you find the name of Jesus in the scripture, think of a physical safe haven, a physical place, a physical strong tower. Now place yourself in that safe haven, that strong tower. Since the scripture says the name is above all names, then don't you think you are above all situations and circumstance. Did Apostle Paul not expatiate on this by saying we are seated with Christ Jesus in high and heavenly place far above principalities and powers (Eph 2v6, 1v21).

Jesus in His benevolence mentioned that whatever we ask The Father from this specific location will be granted unto us (John 14v13). Though we call this glorious name at will, could the lack of answers to our prayers be that we are praying outside  of this specific location? As you will agree with me that one might be in the neighborhood, but until you enter the venue you have not yet arrived at your destination. So is anyone who prays and doubt, or those who prays for selfish reasons, or those who prays and still engage in illicit activities afterwards. They are in the neighborhood of His name, but yet to gain access to the venue. Moreover, those who are calling this name in vain are outside the sure walls of the venue. As discovered by the 7 sons of Sceva (Acts 19v13) who tried to access the treasures in this location from an illegal point, we all know the aftermath of their attempts, they were given the beatings of a thief.

May I also remind you that all Jesus did during His short 3 years ministry was to get as many as would yield and surrender into this specific location of possibilities. For some these 3 years is too short to have any lasting impact, but we shouldn't forget that in those 3 years, God did an eternal crash course for us. For as the Bible explains to us, a thousand years is like a day to our God (I Pet 3v8). So calculate the equivalence of 3 years in days if one thousand years is one day. I hope you see what I am saying! To others, those 3 years were just 3 years, but to the righteous they are 3 years of intense study loaded with heavenly secrets and mysteries embedded in one name.

Whatever authority God The Father has given to Yeshua Hamashiach His Son is pressed down shaken together and running over in His name. Peter dwelling in this place called the name of Jesus, rebranded and beautified the shameful image infront of the beautiful gate (Acts 3v1-6). This name is a spiritual venue meaning you can carry it into any earthly venues without being overburdened for His burden is light (Matt 11v30).How sweet that by being the temple of the Holy Spirit, you and I have now become an eternal inhabitant and carrier of this abode.

Lastly, apart from safety what other treasures do we have in this location?

    1.There's salvation in this location. For there's no other name where one can be saved except through the name of Jesus (Acts 4v12);

    2.There are miracles, sign and wonders in this location (Mark 9v39, Acts 3v6, Acts 4v30);

    3.There's deliverance in this location (Mark 16v17). During their internship period, the disciples returned with the report that demons were bowing down to them from this location (Luke 10:17);

    4.There's healing in this location (Acts 3v6, 16);

    5.There's justification in this location (I Cor 6v11);

    6.There's authority in this location (Acts 16v18);

    7.There's gratitude in this location (Eph 5v20, Col 3v17).

The housekeeping rule in this venue is the 10 commandments, but not from the satanic view of the Christian extremist group the Lord's Resistance army. Reflecting on the 3rd commandment which says 'thou shall not call the name of the Lord your God in vain' (Exo 20v7) points to the key housekeeping rule. Using the name of God is vain is synonymous to loitering and vandalism in this location. One thing that amuses me about the intelligence of God the Holy Spirit is the perfect arrangements of scriptures. We all know that 3 symbolize trinity. Most verses in the Bible are cryptically arranged in stages, places and locations that upon additional revelation reveals deep secrets from the heart of God the Father. Which only shows that this Bible is indeed a work of The Omniscient.

Brethren, I hope with this short charge, I have been able to convince and not confuse you that the word 'In the name of Jesus' is more than a clause. It is an actual location. It is an actual venue. It is an actual place. Only those who are in this venue or location gets viable answers to their petitions. Others can get the crumbs and leftovers from this eternal venue. But why settle for crumbs when you could be feasting in this eternal venue?!

Shalom aleichem brothers and sisters
