In my Father's House

John 14v2 (KJV) In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

This post is about a topic some would consider as illogical or irrelevant due to its incomprehensibility to the human cerebral ability. Think about the possibility of having mansions (not rooms) in a house (not in an estate)? Could this be a typo? Maybe the author wanted to say in my fathers estate there are many mansions. For it only makes sense of it were so. Yes, to the human mind it is impossible but not with God (Matt 19v26). Believe it or not, there are realms beyond what our eyes can see and beyond what our minds could comprehend. For in the spirit realm (sadly some are oblivious to this reality) everything is possible (good or bad) because the realm of the spirit is not based on the material and metamaterial realms albeit from it proceeds the materials and results we find on earth. Be it physical things, issues, problems, sicknesses and solutions. Those who know knows everything we say or do emanates from the realm of ideas or dreams which are as a result of an influence or interaction with a superior or inferior spirit entity. It's a well-documented fact that Albert Einsteins theory of relativity came to him via the realm of dreams. Pharaoh saw the solution to the 7 years global economic crisis of his days through this realm (Gen 41). This was interpreted by a Joseph who understands the power of the unseen. Nebuchadnezzar also saw the strength and destination of his successors and kingdom (Daniel 2). Shamefully, most believers are totally ignorant of this reality while unbelievers are creating amazing economic and technological influences simply by harnessing the powers of this unseen realm. I will not delve into this as this is beyond the focus of this post. The focus of this post is to look at the possibility and meaning of having mansions in a house as depicted in the anchor verse (John 14v2 KJV), and not just in any house, but only in my (our) Father's house. 

Let me explain further how impossible this is. A house is defined as a building for human habitation. Which means there must be a roof covering. Moreover, a mansion is a house but not the regular ones. From the typical real estate definition mansions are larger homes. That offers at least 5,000 square feet of space and at least five to six bedrooms. Therefore, a mansion represents a house that is exquisite, unique, elegant, spacious, expensive, and intricately designed by the best architect and built on the best location with the best resources by the best builder. This is validated by the verse of scriptures that says 'His thoughts towards us are the thoughts of good peace and not of evil' (Jer 29v11). Eyes have not seen nor ears heard neither has it entered the heart of man the thing God has purposed for those who seek Him (I Cor 2v9). 

If you would only imagine this possible! Think about the possibility of having a house so big that it houses mansions for billions of people (I tell you heaven will be a good experience!) Hence, the reason He told Abram that he would only be given as far as he can see (Gen 13v14-16). Did Abram indeed see his descendants spread across Asia, Africa, Europe and the four corners of the world? Of course he did! He even saw the servitude that awaited his descendants due to their Narrow-mindedness in the narrow place (Mitzrayim). If he didn't we wouldn't have read about it neither experienced its reality. But Abram didn't just look with the bulging egg-like substance in the ball socket on his head. He knew to look through the lens of the spirit. For it is unto you as far as your eyes (spiritual and mental) can see.

The concept of having mansions in a house as against that of our cerebral understanding of rooms in a house presents us with the infallibility of the possibilities that pertains to those in the shadow of the Almighty (Psalms 91v1). For as depicted earlier, a house already has its own covering, also the promised mansion has its own covering. This depicts double safety and protection. Which guarantees us of the unfailing Agape heart of the Father to us ward. 

The real intent of this post is actually based on the interpretation of the anchor verse (John 14v2a) in the new messianic version, which says 'In my Father's house there are many offices.' Meaning, there are officers and workers waiting and ready for to take your orders upon every summon. This revelation reinvigorated my faith in God's unfailing promises that He is faithful to His promises and more than capable to fulfill them. Be it job search, healing, marital fulfillment, career development Etcetera, as long as you have a mansion prepared for you in our Father's magnificent house, you are well covered. Not forgetting that we also have a part to play in order for these promises to be fulfilled in our earthly domain. 

What I am trying say is to encourage anyone or any believer going through a tough time not to give up. For our ABBA Father is not a man that He should lie (Num 23v19). In His house exists a reality beyond human comprehension, and that reality is the existence and coexistence of mansions or room for growth and prosperity.  So don't restrict your sight only to the physical. Imagine it possible, work knowing it is achievable then the King of the universe will see to it that it manifests. For the believers already enjoying the manifestation of their blessings, I implore you to return the glory to God (Luke 17v11-19) and also encourage your brethren with your testimony and substance (Matthew 10v8; Luke 22v32).
