For the Record

[7] For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. [8] And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

On Saturday the 3rd of February 2024, which marks the 27th day of the fast chosen for me by God (Isaiah 58v6). I was lying on the bed trying to revive my strength after a long vigil, while resting and joining the household of David's Mercy conference 2024, I heard so loud in my spirit "there are three that bears record in heaven, the Father, the Word and the Holy Ghost. So I knew I just received an insight in the form of a fire that needs to be fanned into a big flame. While searching for the text in the Bible, the Spirit started ministering to me that there is one commonality that bears record both in heaven and on earth. And that's the ministry of the Holy Spirit. As you know the Holy Spirit is our God on earth, and He is the third man in Trinity.

Therefore, the essence of this short post is to resound to you that in order to sail successfully from point A of 2024 to point Z. You definitely need the leadership of the Holy Spirit. But nobody can have the manifestation of the Holy Spirit except they first believe in Jesus Christ as Lord, Saviour, the Son of God and the soon coming King. However, nobody can say Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit (I Cor 12v3). Just to affirm the unity and depth of relationship between Trinity. If we base this on human reasoning, this affirmation is rather confusing or totally wrong all the same. For if we need faith in Jesus to have Koinonia with the Holy Spirit, then it doesn't really make sense to now need the Holy Spirit in order to say Jesus is Lord. But the Way of the Lord surpasses our ways and His thoughts are way beyond our pay grade. There are certain things about the word of God that the Holy Spirit only reveals to a person of the secret place. Proceeding to the assignment, I think it is right for us to first dissect the word records before we now review why God JEHOVI, God the Son Yeshua Hamashiach, and God the Holy Spirit Ruach HaKodesh bears record in heaven. As well as why Ruach HaKodesh, the water and the blood bears record on earth.

So what is a record?

I find the definition by the university of winsconsin befitting the purpose of the assignment, which says a record is any document - in any format (paper or electronic, and yes even video) - created or received by you or your department - that allows you to conduct business. The value of a record is determined by content, not by format.

From this definition two things stands out. One is that a record a document. The second one is that the value of a record is determined by its content not format. So to rephrase, a record is a document containing meaningful contents arranged in a format understandable to the main organization.

We may think our sojourn on earth is not been documented, which is the chiefest of the biggest lies concocted by the devil. At least for those who believe in the resurrection after death, do not be deceived if a man is to receive whatever he sows (Gal 6v7) there is a detailed record of all your acts and actions here on earth. Which goes as far as the content of your heart (Jer 17v10).

Which leads me to the following question:

What record is the Spirit bearing about you? Is it the record that Jesus revealed Jesus glorified? Or is it the record of oh ye of little faith? Do you think your version of the records aligns with God's version of the record?

I will end this post by leaving us to think and have a SELAH moment on these questions. Be rest assured this post will be concluded as the Holy Spirit grants utterance. May the blessing of the God of Abraham locate you this year, and grant you unusual speed to outrun, outpace and without fail acquire and recover all to the glory of God the Father through the grace of God the Son and in fellowship with God the Holy Spirit.
