Disclaimer: this piece is not written to encourage the worship of a dead ancestor or ancestral worship. The core intent is to highlight some points for us to emulate so as to finish the task we have been assigned very strong.
I can't help but notice some commonalities between those two historical figures. Like the basic computer state which has input process output, we will explore the similarities between these two historically significant figures.
Let's start with their names
1. Salvation : Both were sent ahead to save. though one was used to save an entire earthly family one the other was sent to save the entire human race.
Both were betrayed by the ones they loved.
2. Unjustly convicted: Both were convicted for a sin they didn't commit. However, in order to get to their place in destiny both had interactions with two lawfully convicted felons. Out of which one was saved and one not.
3.Righteousness
4.Unwavered focus dedication to their goals. Despite being unlawfully convicted, scorned and mocked they were undeterred and underailed from their purpose. Jesus said don't you know that I must be about my Father's business while it is day.
5.Both were extremely loved by their Fathers. It was noted that Jacob loved Joseph so much he made him a cloak of many colours. The same account was also given off Jesus in the most popular John 3:16 for
6.Both were hated because of the love of their fathers to them.
7.Both were extremely kind to the less privileged. It was noted about Jesus Christ that everywhere He went He was doing good.
8.Both experienced supernatural turnaround from evil to good. Joseph said you meant it for evil but God Elohim turned it around for good. The same account was given about Jesus that if treu had known they wouldn't have crucified the King of glory.
However, despite these similarities, One is dead while the other One willingly died but not dead (Acts 2v.24 - 27). Only One is the Way (Hodos), the Truth (Aletheia) and the Life (Zoé), only One truly gave His life up for all once and for all. Only One did amazing miracles. Only One is the Son of God. Only One died from the unlawful conviction from the lawfully captives.
What I am trying to bring out in this is that, all these qualities are freely given to all through the death and resurrection of the Messiah who's the soon coming King for all of us to emulate and also to enjoy. For we do not have such a high priest who doesn't know what we're going through (Heb 4v15). We indeed have a high priest who didn't just use His life via the shedding of His blood to create an eternal blueprint of victory for anyone stupid enough to believe in Him [Selah]. For as many as believed in Him were given the power to become children of God. Which is to say in order to receive the power to become, you must first believe in the only One.
Shalom aleichem brothers and sisters
